CARDS

All cards are made from 100% recycled paper and are packaged in biodegradable sleeves.

The cello bags are made from renewable corn and other sugar starches.

The film biodegrades completely into CO2, water and biomass, under industrial composting conditions (6 months at 58° C).

Cards are sent out in recyclable hard backed envelopes.

Sophie designs her cards with longevity in mind. Used as sentimental keepsakes or reused as prints, the goal is for these to be used to their maximum potential.

Prints

Heavyweight Prints on 300gsm white recycled paper packaged in a biodegradable cello sleeve.

Heavyweight Prints are designed with longevity in mind as they are thicker than posters and standard issue prints. Bear in mind that recycled paper can cause slight changes per print (some may have the odd speckle).

The cello bags are made from biodegradable corn/potato starch. Each bag is made by a small independent UK business and are fully biodegradable which means that they break down due to CO2 and water. This can then be reused in the eco system to make new plants. This will happen in either in home or commercial composting or landfill. They will still break down to CO2 and water but in commercial composting the temperature will be higher and the process is much quicker. In a colder home composter it will just take longer.

General Stocking Process

Sophie prioritises reducing waste when ordering products. All cards are printed with the same company who also provide envelopes and the biodegradable bags to reduce transit time and multiple orders.

When ordering stock there is a priority on ordering within the company’s means, prioritising the right amount of stock rather than over ordering and producing waste.
